Mentioning members

Last modified:

While you keep working in the context of a Card, you can mention other users. Bring the right people and information by mentioning card members in your comments, to do items or notes. Your team members will note that someone is writing about them because the KanBo notification system will let them know about it in real time on the web and also on their mobile devices.

You can use mentioning to alert specific people in a comment, status post, checklists, and notes. To mention someone, start typing @[person's name] into a comment or status post, and a list will auto-search for all the people with that name. Click the name of the person you'd like to mention or press enter to mention them. The user you mentioned will get a notification.

If the person is not a member of the specific Board in which you're mentioning them, you will be asked if you'd like to invite them. Or if you mention someone on an app item and they don't already have access, then they will get access to that single item automatically.

To mention someone type @ and start typing his name or surname.

You can now move users to Rich text field by using Drag&Drop. When this action is completed, the user will get mentioned.
