KanBo Roles

KanBo provides a set of roles that grant granulated permissions to the users.
Setting a role
1. To grant a role to the user, you must have a Role Management permission. Formerly, if you were a KanBo Manager, you will be able to do that.
2. Open settings, then Users.
3. Select a user you would like to grant a role to.
4. Hover over the user and select three dots button (more), then select Roles.
5. Now you can select which roles you would like to assign to the user.
6. Select the roles and you can exit the Roles window.
Changing a role
1. To change a user's role, you must have a Role Management permission. Formerly, if you were a KanBo Manager, you will be able to do that.
2. Go to Settings -> Users on your Board Collection.
3. Select a user you would like to change the role of.
4. Hover over the user and select three dots button (more), then select Roles.
5. Now select the roles. You can uncheck some roles and select different ones.
Manage roles
1. To see which users are equipped with which role, open Users section.
2. Now select three dots (more) button and select Manage user roles.
3. Now you can enter a role and see which users are equipped with it.
