Seamless import from Microsoft Planner to KanBo

Once you reach the limits of Microsoft Planner you can easily continue in KanBo. Since a KanBo Board belongs to the same Microsoft Team (Microsoft 365 Group) you can import all cards incl. all details from Microsoft Planner even documents and comments. In seconds you can continue in KanBo, even the user permission will be the same and you can also add a Teams KanBo Tab and remove the Planner Tab.

To import a Planner plan to KanBo, make sure you have "Adding users" role in KanBo.

To import a plan to an existing Board, open Board settings and choose Import from Planner.

Now copy the link to the Plan .

Go back to KanBo Board and paste the link into the section. You can choose to import documents and users from Planner.

Click on Import.Data will be imported shortly.

In a couple of minutes, your Plan will be imported to KanBo.

All elements except comments from cards will be imported.
